Having just come back from Spring Break and cleaned out about seven or so
spam messages that SpamAssassin didn't catch (I guess?), I'd like to pose
the question again: why is this mailing list open to non-subscribers?

I'm asking publicly because

a) this is getting absurd; I get enough spam as it is; I don't need more
from NCLUG,

b) we've had a change of leadership (I guess?)

c) I never got a (valid) answer the first time around and d) I don't seem
to be in the minority on people who don't "get" this (although, admittedly,
I'm in the *vocal* minority).

So, what possibly defensible reason is there for that policy?

Later,
Paul

I use PGP; you should use PGP too... if only to piss off John Ashcroft
