 I, for one, have not moved away from RedHat at all and have no plans to.
Their announcement stating support durations was simply a move to encourage
paying customers to move to their enterprise server line. Upgrading the
consumer releases has been trival for quite some time now and doesn't
appear to be suffering at all down the road. I will still be using it on
40+ production compute servers (a growing number) and forsee no issues
with sticking with RedHat.
