I haven't yet tried XFS on linux, but my experience with it under IRIX is
rock stable, I suspect the linux version will be as well.

Ext3 is pretty stable, and handles most crashes very well, with at least one
exception. I did have a journal corruption failure on a 500MB software raid
partition, due to a kernel panic in the qlogicfc driver, that was unrecoverable
with the existing tools.

So, from that perspective, IMHO Ext3 is not quite prime time for a major server.
