Hm.  I'm not sure I understand your comment.  All but one of the
sources I mentioned are web sites:

   http://slashdot.org/
   http://www.theregister.co.uk/
   http://www.lwn.net/
   http://kt.zork.net/

I can understand not wanting to sign up for linux-kernel unless you
have sane mail filtering/reading software.

My point was that I found the news clipping onto NCLUG and BLUG lists
redundant, as I already read most of those sources.  I'm fairly sure
I've never seen anything here first.  As such, I'm actually advocat-
ing for a less-crowded mailbox, as the generic news can be obtained
from other sources.
