[NCLUG] Fedora and USB mp3

hi!

Wondering if anyone knows how to access an
mp3 device through USB on Fedora
I've tried 
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/iriver
and sda2 and sda3....
I do have a 4-port USB hub which does access
my SanDisk compact-flash cards quite easily
with a thing in fstab access /dev/sda1

I have an iriver iFP-790 if that helps any.
Couldn't find any answers on da 'net...
any ideas?
