Mmmm, possible but unlikely. It doesn't explain why OpenBSD is quite 
happy with the route.

OR, as evelyn suggested, akamai. That's where I'm placing my bets.

Perhaps there is some new manifestation of Explicit Congestion 
Notification (ECN) issue and whatever akamai is using.

Windows tests would confirm/deny that the problem is tied to Linux and 
something between FRII & ebay. Thank god I don't have to do the testing. ;)

In sum, my hunch is Linux issue with something between FRII & eBay. 
Whatever it is, isn't between argentina & ebay. I'll be back in a couple 
days so I can test my from my laptop (which worked fine in .ar) once i'm 
on the FRII network again.

I should also note that my OpenBSD firewall is scrubbing the Linux packets.
