Not intending to supersede any of the fine local talent, you might also look at www.linuxquestions.org for their section in the forums dealing with Suse.

In addition to the presentations at local NCLUG meetings, members of the group meet at other times during the month to work on other projects. I'm sure that other members can point you in that direction.
