Hi,
Next Thursday Chase Douglas from Canonical (Ubuntu) is coming to
Denver to give a presentation on multitouch and gestures support in
X.org. If you're interested in multi-touch (using two or more fingers on
touchPads) or gestures (swipe, pinch, two-finger scroll, ...) you
might find the drive worthwhile. Chase is one of the primary developers.
Touch and Go: Leading Touch UI with Open Source
Chase Douglas is a software developer at Canonical working primarily on
multitouch user interface support. For the past year and a half, Chase
has been involved with developing gesture support through Canonical’s
uTouch framework and multitouch support through the X.org window system.

kernel and plumbing layer development and maintenance at Canonical and IBM.
Chase will give the same presentation twice.
