[NCLUG] Apparently I sent to the wrong address

Hi People,

Make copies of MBR, posibly the partition table, and the root file 
system on an external drive.

Install a virgin disk.
Boot a live Linux system.
1.  Make a boot-able partition on the virgin disk.
2.  copy the MBR to the new disk.
3.  make a file system on the new disk'
4.  Copy the copied files from the external drive to the new drive.

What do you think?
