[NCLUG] GNOME 3.x

Hi People,

I tried to send a screen shot of the desk top on my lap top.  I presume 
that is what made my email rejected for size.

I have had issues with GNOME 3 sense the first time I met it.  My basic 
issue is:  How do I put quick launch icons on the desk-top?  I have had 
issues with the GNOME 3.x dash-board and it hasn't shown some 
applications I have installed.
