[NCLUG] Choppy performance issues.

Further testing shows the system-wide performance issues went away
when I moved off ZFS. I didn't notice, as minecraft is actually worse.

There's no visible I/O wait time. There's no particular process
bouncing to the top of the top list, even at .5 sec.

Maybe it's a video driver issue? Pretty odd one, if so.
