The NCLUG meeting was opened by James DeWitt.

Stephen spoke about buffer overflow attacks and demonstrating a few
programs exploiting them.  Among the further reading about these
exploits is "return oriented programming" which is often used in many
exploits in the wild.  Stephen's code examples are available from on
github under his account https://github.com/swarren .  This planned
short topic became somewhat longer.  :-)
