Regarding the Linux Installfest

Good morning NCLUG members,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'll admit that I had high hopes for the NCLUG Linux installfest event that I was planning together with the other members; however, I will admit that there has been a lack of communication between members, and I expected everyone to be more involved with the communication. In addition, some of the people who were involved with the installfest planning (I will not name names) told me that they were very overcommited with their other projects (I suppose professional stuff). Because of that, I don't think I can lead the installfest planning, so I don't think we'll be able to do an installfest. If there is more planning and coordination between everyone involved (especially with my emails), I would gladly do it. But until we can get that figured out, I'd like to see if we can stop working on the Linux Installfest planning for the aforementioned reasons. If I receive no feedback within a week, I believe that we should just cancel it as a group. If you have questions, please let me know.

Kind regards,
Alfredo Cisneros Romero.
