Just ignore that password form field. And ignore the password it
generates when it sends you. It's just GNU Mailman's idea of a prank
really.

You are using it already by sending email to it. Mail comes in. Mail
goes out. It's a mailing list. You can read your response in the
archives.

If you want to have the mailing list send email to you then you will
need to subscribe to it. Just put your email address in the form and
then confirm it when it sends you the email confirmation.
Or you can subscribe entirely through email just like it was a mailing
list or something. Send an email to nclug-request at nclug.org and the
software robot will reply with a confirmation challenge.
Be sure to check your spam folder because Google Gmail, Yahoo,
Microsoft, others all love to put those critical emails into the spam
folder!
