Bob lives! And is in attendance tonight. And started off the meeting
describing his recent adventures inside the medical system.
Brian Sturgill showed off some Github Copilot generated Python code
for his Piecad software.
Stephen shared that he is now a ZFS contributor with code merged
upstream. "ZFS channel programs can now delete bookmarks. Coming
soon, the ZFS CLI will iterate over multiple datasets in the destroy
subcommand."
Morey described some more AI escape from sandbox horror scenarios.
Leveraging Atrifactory and a German wiki site for talking between AI
"agents." And some digression into PDF deep details. Remind me to
bounce my Postscript Programmer's Manual off of Morey's head next time
I see him.
Dan is back from his east coast travels. And his car was startable
today. Claude Code running in a FreeBSD jail with the Linux emulator
layer.
Alex talks about Claude and Jenkins for a work project.
Phil carbon nanotube transistor furnace control software authoring
done with Claude. Sounds like things are mostly positive using it.
And talks super special 20GHz rated cables. And things to do with
them.
Lou spoke about RaspberryPi and imaging hardware challenges. If
anyone has an older nVIDIA 30x0 series GPU, he might be interested in
talking to you about a purchase. Further discussion about running
CUDA code on AMD graphics processors. Morey brought out a DGX Spark
for all to ooh and ahh over.
Aaron is now quantum computer decryption resistant.
https://qcready.com/?domain=greeley.co.us says so. With confetti!
amber.tel gets confetti, too.
https://configurator.tlsref.org/#server=haproxy&version=3.0&config=modern&openssl=3.5.6&hsts&guideline=6.0
generated an HAproxy config file stanza that I am now using with
HAproxy and Debian 13.
At this point, discussions tapered off and a number of us moved to
Slyce Pizza for continued conversations.
