<div dir="ltr">Hi All,<div>I'm looking for a work laptop and wanted your suggestions rough requirements are:</div><div>1. 13.5" or something similar size screen. I don't want a big machine because I want it to fit in my backpack. My MAC Pro Retina 13.5" does fit.</div><div>2. 4K resolution or better for the laptop screen.</div><div>3. Processor which can support a virtual machine for Windows - I'll likely be running Ubuntu 22.04 on the metal. I'm thinking 4 core?</div><div>4. two or more USB3 ports</div><div>5. 256GB ssd or more</div><div>6. Windows >= 10 license would be a bonus for the VM, but not vital.</div><div>7. 8GB RAM minimum but 16GB RAM is better - bonus would be ECC RAM but I'm pretty sure those are very hard to find.</div><div>8. Reasonable to good Linux support. </div><div>Ideas welcome and thanks!</div><div>Phil</div><div><br></div></div>
