Ya, this could be the reason. I'll figure out if I can use some of
the good ideas presented here. Thank y'all. For now I've been just
happy I could still get Linux working on a cheap laptop. My
previous one I bought in 1999 was a PineBookPro for only $200 and I
carried that one to 4 continents.<br>
