Job Description:

 

Packaging Engineering manages the design, validation, and implementation of product shipping package solutions meeting corporate design objectives, product design team needs, industry standards, and customer performance needs. We also provide sustaining engineering support for global manufacturing, distribution, and customer support functions.

 

Main Duties Include:

- CAD (Computer Aided Design) Design Specialist

- Document Oracles product packaging (Cartons, foam, plallets, etc.) specifications

- Produce AutoCAD 7 & AutoDesk Inventor drafting documentation & specifications accurately and on schedule.

- Receive input from packaging engineers on CAD requirements.

- Create accurate 2-D and isometric CAD drawings.

- Manage/create department CAD documentation and product specifications.

- Update CAD & Star Office forms, libraries, and standards.

- Develop and implement process improvements within the department.

 

Skills:

- Experienced in AutoCAD & AutoDesk, (ProE a plus)

- Excellent drafting skills

- Strong word processing skills, including MS Office and/or Staroffice

- Proficient in English

- Completion of college level CAD Courses
