[NCLUG] Red-Carpet working?

The Red-Carpet updater from Ximian has not been working for me since
this weekend.  I was trying to make my system more secure around the
same time, so I'm not sure whether the problem is on my end or on
Ximian's end.  Can someone confirm for me whether or not Red-Carpet is
working?

I get the following error right after running red-carpet:

Transfer of http://red-carpet.ximian.com:8000/channels.xml.gz did not
complete: Cannot connect to server:
http://red-carpet.ximian.com:8000/channels.xml.gz


I don't seem to have any other problems with http accesses.
