I'm rather partial to the HP LaserJet 4ML they were selling refurbed at
http://www.theprinterworks.com  Since it is PostScript, it is excellent
for cross-platform stuff.  It is only about 4ppm, and is also not color,
but you might consider it.  Postscript makes printing under Linux sooo
easy.
