[NCLUG] Tux-tops??

I'd like to buy a new laptop that will dual-boot Linux and another widely used
commercial O/S whose name you all know.
I looked briefly on the IBM website, knowing that they have invested heavily in
Linux, but was disappointed to see only other inferior O/S's offered out of the
box.
I'll email them about my unsatisfied consumer demand, but meanwhile, I'd like to
refer the dilemma to youse faithful NCLUGgers.  Any tips?
