DEBIAN:

Hi!
I'm having a terrible time trying to get Debian installed.
I even went to the installfest in Denver last weekend
and I'm just a blubbering fool with debian installation.
Unfortunately I cannot make it to the installfest this
weekend in Ft Fun but I can attend the meeting this
thursday (I think someone's havingt a meeting this 
thursday)
Could I get a copy of woody that perhaps has 
KDE (or at least gnome)
Currently only the base system is installed and
X but with only tvwm.
Also need help getting lilo activated so I 
can access my Windows drive partition 
(may yack at the windoze partition, but at 
least it's more useful than my current
installation of debian is!  =)
I don't have access to a network yet nor
will my modem work with Linux to download more
packages (apparently).  Working on getting an
external.
Either that or I can tote the whole system
to a meeting sometime or something, 
otherwise I'm going to reinstall Mandrake
cuz 8.1 installation was easier than
flicking a fly across the room with a wooden spoon.

THEN I will bother everyone about best options
to get my desktop and laptop to communicate
over a network and best buys on wireless 
network cards for a laptop.

And after that I'll be asking about 
dual boot and Linux installation on my laptop.

And later I'll come up with a few more 
millenia of questions
