Brett,
I have an AT&T cable svc with a router for my gateway.  I have the IP of my
linux box set as static within the LAN and set the router to send to it's
port 80.  I also used a free forwarding service from dnsq.org.  they have a
program for Linux called dnsQclient that reports your current IP address
back to their server for forwarding.  It has worked well for me for months,
now (both in the Excite days and after).  your web address becomes
mydomain.dnsq.org.

Check 'em out.
