Thanks for everyone's input. I didn't check out the last few that were brought up as I was already investigating sylpheed. sylpheed was just the ticket for me. In fact, it appears to be just like the netscape/mosaic email, even the same key chords, but for plain text only. Nice mbox import (it uses the MH format). Peace, William
