That's one option.
The other option is that tummy.com applies the anti-spam laws and gets
on the order of $4k for the posting to NCLUG, then uses these funds to
pay for the hosting of the system that runs the NCLUG and BLUG mailing
lists and web-sites. It could also be used to pay for the bandwidth of
having a local Red Hat and Debian mirror for members to use, a projector
fund (though CLUE seems to need it more than NCLUG or BLUG), paying for
the domain registrations, ethernet connections at install fests, etc..
