[NCLUG] updating RH install trees

 Ok, hopefully this is a simple question. Is updating the packages in the
RedHat install tree (RPMS directory) as simple as dropping the new ones in
(say a new kernel rev)?

 I have a couple kickstart trees (different versions) from which I install
client machines. These client installs generally don't need any updating
of any packages past what ships with that release at release time. Just
recently I've needed to update the odd package or two and have just been
doing them post-install but would like to have it done during the normal
install.
