There have been many postings on this to the fedora mailing list
(http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/), and the impression that I 
have is that it works with mixed results: some people have had no 
problems; others, many (mostly with libraries IIRC).

My recommendation is to do a fresh install, simply to avoid problems.
