[NCLUG] Open Source or Linux-Compatible Reporting Package?

A few month ago one of my friend asked me to do some research for 
similar topic and they ended up with these two projects from 
sourceforge: http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/ and 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ireport/ (form designer for jasperreport)
