Greeting:
CLUE-North will be having its monthly meeting on Monday, 26 September
2005 at 7PM at DeVry University's Westminster Campus (1870 West 122
Avenue, Westminster, CO 80234). More details can be found on CLUE's
website at http://www.cluedenver.org.
Topic: Hacking Society
What is a Hacking Society (http://www.hackingsociety.org/)?
The goal of the Hacking Society is to foster geek community-building
through the shared experience of hacking. Of course, by "hacking", I
mean the more historic meaning of working on interesting projects
(Jargon File "hack" entry, sense 6 at
http://www.catb.org/~esr/jargon/html/H/hack.html). Not the "script
kiddies trying to compromise boxes" meaning which has become what most
people think of in relation to the term. The WikiPedia also has a good
definition of the word Hacker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacker).
Do you have a little hacking project that could use some input from
like-minded CLUE-bies? Then bring it up to the CLUE-North meeting this
month.
The CLUE-North meething has both wired and wirelss internet connections
available.
Hope to see everyone there!

CLUE-North Coordinator
