[NCLUG] MythTV Presentation on Feb. 12

I would actually like to use a remote control with my machine rather 
than a keyboard (not so interested in having the internet on my TV).  
What remote controls could be used, and can I pick one up at Best Buy?  
Can I use a generic IR receiver with it?
