[NCLUG] flame war

I'm somewhat new to usenet, mailing lists, especially social ones, but My
observation is that a little question about 64-bit vs 32it had somehow
become an arguement about green energy.. While initially the information
people were sending back was useful and informative, I'm getting a lot of
mail that just seems to come accross as mean-spirited and angry? or atleast,
empassioned. I don't relaly want ot set a filter to delete this thread from
my inbox, I think what's been proven here is that some people disagree about
what eeficientcy looks like, and that agrreing to disagree for the time
being seems like a good idea for now; especially since (even though
this/these repla(y/ies) (is/are) all different subjects/topics...  ( e.g.
not off-topic per se) ) they don't really assist the original poster.
