The Open Source Hardware Association is putting on this event later this 
week:

Front Range Open Hardware Symposium
with Congressman Jared Polis
April 24th at 6pm | The Studio Boulder, 3550 Frontier Ave #2, Boulder, CO

This event is to educate the general public and Congressman Polis about 
open source hardware and view open hardware activities happening on
Colorado’s Front Range.
