[NCLUG] Picture cropping discussion at yesterday's meeting.

I posed a problem I had to the group, which was I couldn't find a way with
open source software to crop a picture to a specific size. [The problem
occurred when I was creating lithophanes.]
Well, it turns out that Gimp CAN do this.
I only knew of cropping in Gimp in the "Image" menu. (There are three
different forms of crop there.)

It turns out there is an additional form of crop under Tools>Transform
Tools>Crop.
This version brings up a side panel that lets you fix the size, then you
can move it to the
correct spot with your mouse and press <ENTER> to do the crop.

Thanks for all the help!
