I use i3. I used "awesome" window manager for a while, way too long,
and it was not good. I feel like I wasted a lot of time with awesome.
Then switched to i3 and it was a huge wave of sanity. I should have
switched from awesome to i3 long before. Bad judgement on my part
that I did not.
Tiling window managers are not for everyone. But on my small laptop
screen I really want to use the full screen and make the display as
large as possible. My eyes are not as young as they used to be when I
was a twenty-something.
