I'm using sway (i3 for wayland) on my desktop, which is the opposite of
Bob's laptop:
2x 30" 4k displays and the 15" laptop hidpi screen. One thing I like about
it in the
"plenty of real estate" mode is I have it set up so I can "mark" and "jump"
to windows
like vi buffers. So Win+m s to mark slack and then I can jump back with
Win+n s.
I also like full-screen (usually for looking at logs) and "make this window
full height"
(for looking at code).
I live most of my day in a bunch of terminals, a few browsers, and a
slack. So it's
a pretty minimal set of apps, but it works good.
