Hi NCLUGers,

What: July NCLUG Meeting
When: Tuesday July 11th, 6pm
Where: College America, 4601 S Mason St, at Harmony (map at nclug.org)
Food afterwards: TBD

Presenters: Eric Sisler,
Library Applications Specialist, Westminster Public Library

Topic: Linux in the Library - 10 years later.

Abstract: Eric began experimenting with Linux in 1996 as a learning tool
for a new UNIX server. The Library later began using Linux at a new
facility to provide DNS resolution and serve a small number of CD-ROMs.
Over the years our use of Linux has expanded to include a wide variety
of services: network file storage, delivering e-mail and serving web
pages, just to name a few. Today the Library simply could not function
without Linux.

See you there!
