Location:  Broomfield, Colorado

 

 

This is an entry to junior level support engineer position.

 

Technical Requirements - experience required in some of the following areas:
* Systems - HW and SW (Solaris, Linux, Windows)
* Storage arrays - NAS, DAS, SAN attached; RAID configured.
* Storage transport technologies - FC, iSCSI, FCoE, SAS, IB
* TCP/IP network routers/switches.
* SAN core and edge directors/switches.
* Physical plant recommendations - fiber/copper cabling, HVAC, Power, rack space, work areas, etc.
* Troubleshooting and problem solving.

Additional Specific Requirements:
* Physically able to receive and install servers, storage arrays, switches, etc. in racks.
* Flexible self starter who works effectively with guidance and converts task requirements into specific timely actions and results.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Able to work effectively with a variety of strong personalities.
* Maintain appropriate spares and tools.
* Maintain asset inventory.
* Complete other tasks as assigned.
