	A 'friend' of mine always got a kick out of running "stty erase t" on my
	machines.  You couldn't exiT, you could logouT, and you couldn't run
	"sTTy" to fix it, you couldn't shuTdown, halT, or reseT...  Ah, those
	were the days...

All terminal drivers based on the Berkley hacks (most UNIX's) have a literal
escape character (typically ^V) which allows direct input of the editing and
white space characters. The trick is to find it when the keyboard has been
remapped, then use it to "^Vs^Vt^Vt^Vy^V ^Vs^Va^Vn^Ve" as needed.
